Rex Chung

Hong Kong

Rex Chung joined KKR's Client and Partner Group in 2008. Prior to joining KKR, Mr. Chung spent 16 years at UBS Investment Bank in the firm's equity and investment banking divisions. Most recently, he was a Managing Director and COO of the firm's US prime brokerage distribution business in New York. In Hong Kong, he ran the firm's equity syndicate desk and originated some of Asia's largest and most innovative equity and equity-linked capital markets transactions as well as distributing Asian equities from London and New York. Prior to that, he was an analyst and officer for Seoul Securities Co., Ltd. based in Seoul and New York. Mr. Chung holds a B.Soc.Science from the University of Ottawa and an M.A. from the Graduate School of International Studies, Yonsei University.

John Empson

London

John Empson joined KKR in 2008 as the Managing Director of KKR Capital Markets Ltd. With JP Morgan for 21 years, he has had long term experience in the European debt markets and was formerly head of JP Morgan's European leveraged loan capital markets business between 2003 and 2008. Mr. Empson also has extensive experience in leveraged finance debt origination and has worked on some of the largest and most complex transactions syndicated in the European market.

Craig J. Farr

New York

Craig J. Farr joined KKR in 2006 and is head of KKR's Capital Markets team. Mr. Farr is a Member of the firm and is driving the buildout of the structuring and distribution resources in KKR's global capital markets business. Prior to joining KKR, Mr. Farr spent 12 years at Citigroup Global Markets Inc. where he was promoted to Managing Director in 2001. Prior to joining KKR, he served as Co-Head of North American Equity Capital Markets. Mr. Farr's previous responsibilities included Head of U.S. Convertible and Corporate Equity Derivative Origination. Mr. Farr began his career at Salomon Brothers in the investment banking division. Mr. Farr graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce from Queen's University in Kingston, Canada.

Greg Guest

New York

Greg Guest joined KKR in 2007 with a focus on KKR Capital Markets LLC and KKR Private Equity Investors, L.P. Prior to joining KKR, Mr. Guest spent twelve years at Citigroup Global Markets Inc. Most recently he served as Managing Director in Citigroup's Equity Capital Markets Division covering a mix of global accounts such as Wellington, Gartmore, HBK, Morgan Stanley, T. Rowe Price and Frontpoint. Mr. Guest began his career at Wellington as a research analyst on the $20 billion Windsor fund run by John Neff and Chuck Freeman covering financials and industrials. He holds a B.A. from Princeton University.

Aren LeeKong

New York

Aren LeeKong joined KKR in 2007 and is a member of the capital markets team. Mr. LeeKong's primary focus, within the capital markets team, is equity syndication. He has been involved in placements for Alliance Boots, Aricent, Avago, Dollar General, First Data Corporation, Energy Future Holdings (formerly TXU Corp.), Northgate Information Systems, and Rockwood Holdings. Prior to joining KKR, Mr. LeeKong spent 9 years at Citigroup Global Markets Inc. Most recently, he served as a Director in Citigroup's Equity Capital Markets Division, overseeing the firm's equity private placement initiatives. Mr. LeeKong began his career at Salomon Smith Barney in Institutional Equity Sales, focusing on hedge funds. Mr. LeeKong holds a B.A. from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst.

Jonathan R. Levin

New York

Jonathan R. Levin is the Treasurer and Head of Investor Relations for KKR. As Treasurer, Mr. Levin is involved in the oversight of the firm's balance sheet received as a result of its combination transaction with KKR Private Equity Investors. As Head of Investor Relations, Mr. Levin leads KKR's efforts to engage with public investors and industry analysts. He also works on strategic projects for the firm. Prior to this role, Mr. Levin helped build KKR's capital markets business, worked in the private equity business, and focused on strategic projects for the firm, including the business combination of KPE and KKR. Mr. Levin joined KKR in 2004 from Bear Stearns. He holds a B.A. from Harvard College.

Irene Mavroyannis

Irene Mavroyannis, who joined KKR in 2007, is the Chief Operating Officer of KKR Capital Markets LLC and is focused on capital markets and capital raising activities. Prior to joining KKR, Ms. Mavroyannis was a Director in the Origination Group, Equity Capital Markets, at Citigroup Global Markets Inc. and previous to Citigroup, was an investment banker at Morgan Stanley in the Corporate Finance Execution Group. Prior to Morgan Stanley, she was an attorney at Shearman & Sterling in their Capital Markets Group. Ms. Mavroyannis received a B.Soc.Science, summa cum laude, and a Bachelor of Laws, magna cum laude, from the University of Ottawa and a Master of Laws, honors, from The University of Chicago Law School.

Valeria Rebulla

London

Valeria Rebulla joined KKR in 2009 with a focus on capital markets and capital raising activities. Prior to joining KKR, Ms. Rebulla spent almost ten years at Goldman Sachs International in London, where she began her career in the M&A Division and subsequently worked in the Bank Loan Capital Markets Group. Most recently she served as Executive Director in the Private Finance Group on the Bank Loan Sales Desk. She holds an M.Sc., summa cum laude, from L. Bocconi University in Milan, Italy.

Jason Ridloff

New York

Jason Ridloff joined KKR in 2008 and is a member of the KKR Capital Markets team. Prior to joining KKR, he spent ten years at Credit Suisse/Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette where he was involved in a broad range of merger and acquisition, leverage finance, restructuring, and merchant banking transactions. He has been working with KKR since 2002 on numerous investments including Yellow Pages Group, PanAmSat, Visant, Accellent, Toys 'R' Us, and First Data Corporation. Prior to earning his J.D./M.B.A., Mr. Ridloff worked in investment banking and private equity at Patricof & Co. and The Carlyle Group. He received a B.S., cum laude, from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and a J.D. and M.B.A. from The Law School and The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, respectively.

Jeff Rowbottom

Jeff Rowbottom joined KKR in 2009 as a Director in KKR Capital Markets and is responsible for debt capital markets/syndication. Jeff has over fifteen years of leveraged finance capital markets experience and investor relationships. Jeff joined KKR from Barclays Capital where he was head of U.S. High Yield Capital Markets. Prior to Barclays, he was a senior member of the Goldman Sachs High Yield Syndicate desk. Jeff received a B.S., from SUNY at Albany and a M.B.A. from Columbia University.

Adam Smith

New York

Adam Smith joined KKR in 2007 and is a member of the KKR Capital Markets team. He is primarily focused on structuring, product creation, capital markets financings, new business development and strategic initiatives for the Firm. He was significantly involved in the structuring and initial formation of KKR Private Equity Investors and the creation of various alternative investment vehicles for investors, including a principal protected product. Prior to joining KKR, Mr. Smith was a corporate attorney at Simpson Thacher & Bartlett in New York and Linklaters in London, where he represented a number of private equity, corporate and investment banking clients in the areas of leveraged finance, equity finance, tender offers and general corporate matters. Mr. Smith holds a B.A. from Duke University and a J.D. from the UCLA School of Law.
