Prior to joining KKR, he was a Vice President with Warburg Pincus, where he was involved in the execution and oversight of a number of investments in the energy sector. Mr. Agrawal's prior experience also includes Thayer Capital Partners, where he played a role in the firm's business and manufacturing services investments, and McKinsey & Company, where he provided strategic and M&A advice to clients in a variety of industries. He holds a B.A. with honors and distinction from Stanford University, and an M.B.A. from the Stanford University Graduate School of Business, where he was an Arjay Miller Scholar.

Currently, he is on the board of directors of BIS Industries, MMI, Unisteel, Seven, and Oriental Brewery. Mr. Bae, who had been located in the New York office, moved to Hong Kong in late 2005 to establish KKR's Asian operations. Prior to KKR, Mr. Bae worked for Goldman, Sachs & Co. in its Principal Investment Area, where he was involved in a broad range of merchant banking transactions. He heads the Retail industry team and is currently on the board of directors of Dollar General, Toys 'R' Us, and U.S. Foodservice. Mr. Calbert served as Chief Financial Officer of Randall's Food Markets, ultimately taking the company through a transaction with KKR in June 1997. He left Randall's Food Markets after the company was sold in September 1999 and joined KKR. Mr. Calbert started his professional career as a consultant with Arthur Andersen Worldwide, where his primary focus was on the retail/consumer industry. He holds a B.A. from Stephen F. Kenneth W. Freeman joined KKR in 2005. He has taken an active role managing investments in Accellent Inc., as Executive Chairman, and Masonite, initially as Chairman and CEO and currently as Chairman. He is a member of the Portfolio Management Committee and serves on the board of HCA. Prior to joining KKR, Mr. Freeman was Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Quest Diagnostics Incorporated, the leading provider of diagnostic testing information and services, for nine years. Mr. Freeman began his career at Corning Incorporated in 1972, progressing through the financial function before leading several business turnarounds. He is chairman of the board of trustees of Bucknell University, and is past chairman of the American Clinical Laboratory Association. Prior to joining KKR, Mr. Freise was co-founder of Venturepark, a Berlin, Germany-based early stage venture capital company sponsored by Bertelsmann, Goldman Sachs and DaimlerChrysler, among others. From 1996 to 1999, Mr. Freise worked for McKinsey & Company in Frankfurt, Germany and New York focusing on serving media, health care and private equity clients in the U.S. and Europe on strategic and operational matters. He started his professional career with Salomon Brothers in the Mergers and Acquisitions department in New York and London where he was a Vice President. Following that, he worked with Investcorp in London, where he was a member of their Management Committee and was jointly responsible for operations in Europe. While at Investcorp, Mr. Huth led a number of transactions in Europe. He holds a B.Sc. with highest honors from the London School of Economics and an M.B.A. from the University of Chicago.

Xiang Li joined KKR in 2009 as a member of the KKR China team. Prior to joining KKR, he was a Managing Director in Investment Banking at Goldman Sachs Beijing where he was responsible for client coverage and transaction execution for large state-owned enterprises, private sector companies, and government regulatory entities. Mr. Li also worked for over 10 years at a central government ministry responsible for economic development and policies. Mr. Li holds a B.A. in Economics from People's University of China School of Business, and an M.S. with distinction from University of Southampton School of Management in the United Kingdom.
Max C. Lin

Max C. Lin joined KKR in 2005 and is a member of the Healthcare and Technology industry teams. Mr. Lin has been involved with the firm's investment in The Nielsen Company (formerly VNU Group). Prior to joining KKR, he was with Morgan Stanley in its Financial Sponsors Group, where he was involved in a number of merger, acquisition and financing transactions. He holds a B.S. and B.A.S., summa cum laude, from the University of Pennsylvania and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.
Marc S. Lipschultz

Marc S. Lipschultz joined KKR in 1995 and is the global head of KKR's Energy and Infrastructure business. Marc currently serves as a member of KKR's Management Committee and the Firm's Infrastructure Investment Committee. Marc has played a leading role in many investments including DPL, International Transmission Company, Texas Genco, Energy Future Holdings (formerly TXU Corp.) and East Resources. Currently, Marc is on the board of directors of Energy Future Holdings, Oncor Electric Delivery and Accel-KKR Company. Prior to joining KKR, Marc was with Goldman, Sachs & Co., where he was involved in a broad array of mergers and acquisitions as well as the firm's principal investment activities. He received an A.B., Honors and Distinction, Phi Beta Kappa, from Stanford University and an M.B.A. with High Distinction, Baker Scholar, from Harvard Business School. David H. Liu

David H. Liu joined KKR in 2006 and is a Member of KKR and the Head of KKR Greater China. He played a significant role in the investment in Far Eastern Leasing, Modern Dairy, Tianrui Cement and Yageo Corporation. Mr. Liu previously served as Managing Director and Co-head of Morgan Stanley Private Equity Asia. Mr. Liu has established one of the leading investment track records in Greater China with a number of successful and innovative investments such as Mengniu Dairy, Ping An Insurance, Nanfu Battery, Paradise Retail, Hengan International, Belle International and Shanshui Cement. Mr. Liu graduated from Columbia University as Class Salutatorian with a B.S. in Electrical Engineering. He is a member of Tau Beta Pi National Engineering Honor Society and a winner of the Edwin Howard Armstrong Memorial Award for the top electrical engineering student at Columbia University.

Ming Lu joined KKR in 2006 and is a senior operating executive. He has played a significant role in the investments in BIS Cleanaway, MMI and Unisteel Technology Limited. Mr. Lu currently sits on the board of directors of BIS Industries , MMI and Unisteel Technology Limited. He was previously a Partner at CCMP Capital Asia (formerly J.P. Morgan Partners Asia). While with JPMP Asia, Mr. Lu was involved in the acquisition of Mando Corporation, a leading auto components manufacturer in Korea, and was also involved in a number of other auto, industrial and consumer product deals. Prior to joining JPMP Asia in 1999, Mr. Lu worked for Lucas Varity, a leading global automotive component supplier for two years. From 1993 to 1997, Mr. Lu worked for Kraft Foods International Inc. From 1985 to 1993, he worked for CITIC, the largest direct investment firm in China. Mr. Lu received a B.A. in Economics from Wuhan University of Hydroelectrical Engineering in China and an M.B.A. from University of Leuven in Belgium.

Kabir Mathur joined KKR in 2008 and has been involved in the investments in MMI, Unisteel and Bharti Infratel. Prior to joining KKR, Mr. Mathur spent 1½ years working at TPG Capital, focusing primarily on their investment activities in Southeast Asia. Before that, Mr. Mathur was with Citigroup/Salomon Smith Barney working in their Investment Banking Division in London and Singapore for five years. Mr. Mathur received a B.Sc. in Economics from the London School of Economics and Political Science in the U.K.

Sir Deryck Maughan joined KKR in 2005. He leads the Financial Services industry team and is Chairman of KKR Japan. He serves on the board of directors of BlackRock, GlaxoSmithKline and Thomson Reuters. Sir Deryck was Vice Chairman of Citigroup from 1998 to 2004, Chairman and CEO of Salomon Brothers from 1992 to 1997, and Chairman of Salomon Brothers Asia from 1986 to 1991. He was a member of H. M. Treasury from 1969 to 1979. He is a former Vice Chairman of the New York Stock Exchange and Chairman of the U.S.-Japan Business Council. Sir Deryck is a Harkness Fellow and a graduate of King's College, University of London and Stanford University Graduate School of Business.

Michael W. Michelson joined KKR in 1981. Since then, has been directly involved with numerous portfolio companies. He played a significant role in the development of Accellent, Alliance Imaging, Amphenol, AutoZone, Beatrice Companies, Biomet, Dillingham, Golden West, HCA, Jazz Pharmaceuticals, KinderCare Learning Centers, Lily Tulip, M & T, Malone & Hyde, Fred Meyer, Owens-Illinois and Union Texas Petroleum. He currently serves on the board of directors of Biomet, HCA, and Jazz Pharmaceuticals. He co-heads KKR's North American Private Equity business and heads the Health Care industry team. Mr. Michelson is also a member of KKR's Investment Committee and Management Committee. Mr. Michelson began his professional career with the law firm of Latham & Watkins in Los Angeles, where he was involved in a broad corporate practice while specializing in management buyouts. Shusaku Minoda

Shusaku Minoda joined KKR in 2007 and is Chief Executive Officer of KKR Japan. Prior to joining KKR, Mr. Minoda was Managing Executive Officer in charge of the Global Investment Banking Group of Mizuho Corporate Bank and was a member of the management committee of the Bank since 2004. He worked as General Manager of the Syndicated Finance Department from 1998 to 2003 at the Bank. In his effort to develop the Syndicated Financial Market in Japan, he became one of the founding members of the Japan Syndication and Loan Trading Association and served as Chairman of the association from 2003 to 2005. Previously he was managing director in charge of primary and secondary bond trading, derivatives, structured products, Japanese equity and research at IBJ International PLC in London from 1995 to 1998. Mr. Minoda also worked for IBJ's London Branch as Treasurer from 1990 to 1995. Mr. Minoda is a graduate of Hitotsubashi University in Tokyo.

Mr. Murphy was formerly a Partner at Cinven, a large European-based private equity firm. He co-heads KKR's North American Private Equity business and heads the Media/Communications industry team in the U.S. Mr. Navab played a significant role in the development of Borden, Intermedia Communications, KSL Recreation, Neway Anchorlok, Newsquest Media, The Nielsen Company (formerly VNU Group) NuVox (NewSouth Communications), PanAmSat, RELTEC, Tenovis, Visant, Yellow Pages Group, World Color Press and Zhone Technologies. He is currently on the board of directors of The Nielsen Company and Visant. Mr. Navab also serves on KKR's Investment Committee and Management Committee. Prior to joining KKR, Mr. Navab was with James D. Wolfensohn Incorporated where he was involved in mergers and acquisitions as well as corporate finance advisory work. Sanjay Nayar

Sanjay Nayar joined KKR in 2009. Previously, he spent 24 years at Citigroup, most recently as CEO of Citi's Indian and South Asian operations and as a member of Citigroup's Asia Executive Operating Committee and Global Senior Leadership Committee. Citi India was one of the leading international franchises of Citi encompassing Consumer, Corporate, and Investment Banking.
Mr. Nayar was the Deputy Chairman of the Indian Banks' Association (IBA), Chairman of the Foreign Banks' Committee of the IBA, a member of the Board of USIBC, Co-Chairman of the Banking Committee for the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI), and Co-Chairman of the Habitat for Humanity India Builds campaign. He has also participated in various financial sector reform committees set up by the Indian government and domestic regulators Infrastructure Committee in 2008, and currently on the Committee by Reserve Bank of India to build a "Centre for Advanced Financial Learning" (CAFL).
Currently, he is on the board of large NGOs such as Habitat for Humanity and Pratham.

Prior to joining KKR, he was with McKinsey & Company in Germany and Tokyo as an associate, where he was involved in a number of private equity transactions, strategy projects, and operational improvement projects. Osamu Ogura joined KKR in 2007. Prior to joining KKR, he was with Mizuho Corporate Bank as a General Manager in the Financial Products Coordination Division. During his 27 years with Mizuho Financial Group and its predecessor (Fuji Bank), Mr. Ogura was engaged in business strategies for the Americas, corporate planning, turnaround and IPO of Heller Financial, revitalization plan of the banks, three-way merger of DKB, Fuji and IBJ and coordination of financial products, including leveraged finance, real estate finance and MBO advisory. Since 2009, he has worked in KKR's Menlo Park office where he is a member of the Retail and Technology teams. Before that he was an associate on the private equity team at Investcorp International Ltd. in London. Justin Reizes joined KKR's London office in 1999. In Europe, he focused mainly on the Media, Communications and the Financial Services industries. Mr. Reizes moved to Hong Kong in late 2005, then Tokyo in July 2006 and then Sydney in the beginning of 2008. Since moving to Asia, he has been actively involved in developing KKR's Asian operations. Mr. Reizes has played a role in the investments in Tenovis, Maxeda (formerly Vendex KBB), BIS and Seven Media Group. He is currently on the board of directors of BIS and Seven Media Group. Prior to KKR, Mr. Reizes was involved in the private equity investments area of Morgan Stanley (Morgan Stanley Capital Partners) in London. From 1996 to 1998, he was in the investment banking division of Morgan Stanley, where he was involved in a number of mergers, acquisitions, and financings. He holds a B.S., summa cum laude (Engineering Alumni Association Award), and a B.A., summa cum laude (Herb Pittman Award), from Rice University.
Josselin de Roquemaurel

Josselin de Roquemaurel joined KKR in 2005. He has been involved in the investment in Tarkett and U.N Ro-Ro. Mr. de Roquemaurel is a member of the European Energy industry team, but has also been working on several investment opportunities in other industry segments. Prior to joining KKR, Mr. de Roquemaurel spent three and a half years in J.P. Morgan's corporate finance department in London, where he focused on the industrial and TMT sectors. He studied at the Ecole Normale Supérieure (ENS) in Fontenay St-Cloud, France and holds a degree from the Ecole des Hautes Etudes Commerciales (HEC) in Jouy-en-Josas, France.

Silke Scheiber joined KKR in 1999 and has been involved with several portfolio companies. She leads our efforts in the Industrials industry sector in Europe. Ms. Scheiber played a role in the investments in Demag, Rockwood/Dynamit Nobel, SBS Broadcasting, Tarkett, KION, Wincor Nixdorf and Zumtobel. Currently, she is on the board of directors of ATU, KION and Tarkett. Prior to joining KKR, Ms. Scheiber was with Goldman Sachs in Frankfurt, Germany where she was involved in numerous mergers, acquisitions and public offerings across a broad range of industries. She holds a B.A. from the University of St. Gallen (Switzerland) and Haute Ecole des Etudes Commerciales (HEC)/France.

Jonathan D. Smidt has been with KKR since 2000 and during that time has been directly involved with several investments and portfolio companies. He has also had portfolio company responsibilities for DPL Inc. and KinderCare Learning Centers. Mateusz (Mati) M. Szeszkowski joined KKR in 2007. He has been directly involved with investments in Northgate and BMG and serves on the board of directors of Northgate, BMG, and AVR. He invested in a number of leading enterprises in China, including Dong Xiang Sports, Nanfu Battery, Hengan International, Mengniu Dairy, Paradise Retail, Belle International, Shanshui Cement, Ping An Insurance, and Conch Cement. Prior to Morgan Stanley, he was with the Mergers and Acquisition Group of Lazard Freres and prior to that he was with Coopers & Lybrand's Financial Advisory Service Group. Mr. Wolhardt grew up in Taiwan. He holds a C.P.A. and C.M.A. and received a B.S. with honors in Accounting from the University of Illinois (Urbana-Champaign).

Ling Yang joined KKR in 2008. Prior to joining KKR, she was with The Carlyle Group in New York, where she focused on private equity investing. Prior to that, Ms. Yang was with Goldman Sachs in New York, where she was involved in a variety of merger, acquisition and financing transactions. Ms. Yang holds a B.A., summa cum laude, from Smith College, and an M.B.A. from Harvard University.
Eiji Yatagawa

Eiji Yatagawa joined KKR in 2006 and is a member of the Technology industry team. Mr. Yatagawa has been directly involved in the investment in Unisteel and is currently on its board of directors. Prior to joining KKR, he was with Goldman, Sachs & Co. in New York and Tokyo as an associate in its Technology, Media and Telecommunications investment banking group, where he was involved in a number of merger, acquisition and financing transactions. He holds an M.S. and a B.S. from the University of Tokyo.
Lane Fu Zhao

Lane Fu Zhao joined KKR in 2006. At KKR, Mr. Zhao has been significantly involved with the investment in Yageo Corporation and Modern Dairy Farm. Prior to joining KKR, he was with Morgan Stanley Private Equity, where he was actively involved in a number of private equity transactions in the Greater China area, such as Mengniu Dairy, Ping An Insurance, Belle International and Paradise Retail. He holds a B.S., with first class honor, from Tsinghua University in China.
Sanjay K. Morey

Sanjay Morey joined KKR in 2006. He is a member of the Retail industry team and has been involved in the investments in U.S. Foodservice and Toys 'R' Us. Mr. Morey serves on the board of directors of U.S. Foodservice and Toys 'R' Us. Prior to joining KKR, he was a Vice President with Fenway Partners, where he was involved in the execution of numerous investments in the retail and consumer products sectors. Prior to completing his M.B.A., Mr. Morey was with Freeman Spogli, where he was involved in a broad range of private equity transactions, and worked in the investment banking division of Salomon Brothers Inc. He holds a B.A., magna cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa, from the University of California, Los Angeles and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.
